RACING TEAM NITRA - SECOND PODIUM
On February 24, 2022 the second round of the Martin Marathon took place in the indoor kart hall Motokáry Martin. It was a 2-hour long endurance race for teams consisting of min. 2 drivers and max. 4 drivers with 3 mandatory driver changes and with a ballast weight for drivers to reach a driver weight of 80 kg. Despite the fact that due to health reasons not all drivers of our team could participate in the race, a suitable solution was found. Our main team Racing Team Nitra was again represented by drivers Marko Matejov and Jakub Fülöp, who again finished in second place. Marko Matejov also set the fastest lap of the race, trailing the leading team Masters Team by just half a second after 2 hours! This time, the drivers Jozef Dóczy and Šimon Šuník competed for our second team Racing Team Nitra 2 taking seventh place. Thanks to this result, we got back to second place in the national ranking of the Sodi World Series (SWS) in the Endurance Cup category.
