RACING TEAM NITRA - FIRST PODIUM

On January 27, 2022 the first round of the Martin Marathon took place in the indoor kart hall Motokáry Martin. It was a 2-hour long endurance race for teams consisting of min. 2 and max. 4 drivers with several mandatory driver changes and with a ballast weight for drivers to reach a driver weight of 80 kg. Even though I unfortunately did not manage to travel to Martin for this event, 5 of our drivers took part in the race and split into two teams based on their current driving performance. The two racing drivers Marko Matejov and Jakub Fülöp, who immediately came in an excellent second place on the podium, competed for the main team Racing Team Nitra. For our next team, Racing Team Nitra 2 the racing drivers Jozef Dóczy, Jakub Rákoci and Šimon Šuník were also able to deliver a convincing good performance when they took fifth place. This result also pushed us along to second place in the national ranking of the Sodi World Series (SWS) in the Endurance Cup category.
