ANOTHER PODIUM FOR OUR TEAM
On September 20, 2022 another round of the so-called Martin Marathon, a 2-hour long endurance race that is part of the Endurance Cup within the Sodi World Series (SWS) took place in the indoor kart hall Motokáry Martin. Despite a successful qualifying and 2nd place on the starting grid, our driver Jakub Fülöp did not have an easy time during the race. As a result of aggressive racing duels with opponents, Jakub dropped back to 4th place and eventually received a 5-second penalty. Our other driver, Marko Matejov, was able to make up for this loss of time, which was clearly evident from his lap times, especially when he set the fastest lap with a record time of 34.19 seconds. Just for comparison – the second fastest lap time was 34.32 seconds. Racing Team Nitra made it in the end once again onto the podium, this time in 3rd place. Hats off!
